MC Silicone addition cure molding silicone rubber is a two component elastomer cross-linking at room temperature. The polymerization can be accelerated by heat. How to use of Transparent Silicone Rubber Sheet?

1-Take 100g of part A and add 2g of part B and mix the silicone rubber and curing agent evenly.

2-vacuum pumping

3-Pouring mold or block mold of silicone rubber

Storage of Transparent Silicone Rubber Sheet

When the silicone rubber is stored at or below 30 centi degree in the original unopened containers, Silicone Base and Curing agent have a usable life of 10 months from the date of production. After 10 months stockpiles use the Stir to mix the Part A silicone for some minutes, then the silicone can be use again, no influence for other performance.

How to deal with silicone mold difficult demould?

There are many influencing factor for silicone mold difficult demould. In the first place, the surface of silicone mold selected as model is needed to be processed, particularly for those mold species with rough surface or complex structure, which can be polished, grinded and cleaned. Coarse model is more likely to occur this phenomenon of mucous membrane than smooth silicone mold.

Next, please don't forget to spray a layer of release agent on the surface of silicone mold and the base uniformly. The release agent most commonly used is petrolatum, detergent and liquid paraffin. You ought to select different release agent on the basis of material of silicone mold during the practical operation. It is unwise of many people to increase the usage of demoulding agent and using frequency to overcome the problem of silicone mold difficult demould. Excessive spraying release agents are likely to cause the dirt of silicone mold's surface, ranging from some impact on the appearance of the product. Most of the release agent has certain influence on the product of subsequent screen printing and fuel injection, excessive use of release agent will also affect the adhesion ability of screen printing, spraying, and printing ink. Therefore, we also need to solve the silicone mold difficult demould by following several ways.

On the third point, the difficult demould is closely related to the structure of silicone mold. Such problem of silicone mold difficult demould does not apply to those products which is sutable for wrapping operation, such as making simple crafts. But for those products of complex structure, such as tire mold, you should take the parting time into consideration. The tire silicone mold is made, which is divided into six pieces.

Besides, you should think over this factor of hardness of silicone rubber, which must be consistent to the size of the products. The soft silicone can be applicable to those small size products with detailed patterns to deal with the phenomeon of silicone mold difficult demould. Of course, it has a knack of adjustment of the operating temperature. Products like stuck in this half of silicone mold with lower temperature. For example, when the temperature of the upper silicone mold is 175 ℃ and the lower silicone mold is 165 ℃, the products generally are stuck in the lower silicone mold.

Why silicone mold appears bleeding oil?


This phenomenon of silicone mold appears bleeding oil may mainly relate to adding too much silicone oil or having mixed the compound silicone oil which is the compound of silicone oil and white oil in the process of making silicone mold. And the white oil is a kind of petrochemicals but not the pure silicone oil. This is a mean took by manufacturers in order to save costs of silicone mold because the price of pure silicone oil is much higher than the white mineral oil.

Here, we have to say about the difference between the pure silicone oil and un-graded silicone oil to produce the high quality silicone mold and avoid the problem of bleeding oil. Firstly, you can see with your eyes and smell with your nose directly, because the ungraded silicone oil is in a turbid liquid form and smells bad. Then, you can test it by fire. The burning point of ungraded silicone oil is 100℃, while the pure silicone oil is 320℃. Besides, you can also take the freezing point method, because the silicone oil will remain clear and transparent under temperature of -50℃.
Secondly, the reason why silicone mold appears bleeding oil may be that you add too much curing agent (catalyst) in the production of silicone mold. So, you should reduce the ratio of curing agent, otherwise, this silicone oil added in the silicone rubber is easy for bleeding oil.
